Carmes De Rieussec Sauternes AOC (Château Rieussec Grand Cru Classé AOC 2nd wine)

Château Rieussec’s second wine is selected according to the same standards as the first wine. Its character consistently reveals a beautiful aromatic range dominated by citrus flavours. Carmes de Rieussec’s name is a reference to the Carmelite monks in Langon, who owned the Rieussec estate, located on the border of the municipalities of Fargues and Sauternes, in the 18th century. Passed from hand to hand among different families, in 1984 it was bought by the Barons Rothschild, one of the most noble families important linked to the world of wine, already owner of the famous Château Lafite.
Today at Château Rieussec are grown the three symbolic vines of Sauternes, sémillion, sauvignon and muscadelle, carefully following traditional techniques, both in the vineyard and in the winery: the result of this commitment leads to the creation of rich, deep and dense wines, which conquer and fascinate from the first sip, thanks to the great variety of organoleptic characteristics expressed in the glass.

Château Coutet Premier Cru Classé Barsac AOC

First built as a fortress, Château Coutet still bears the stamp of its medieval origins.
The history of Château Coutet as a winemaking estate starts in 1643, when Charles Le Guérin, known as Lord of Coutet, made it one of the first vineyards in the Sauternes appellation. The estate remained in the hands of his descendants until 1788, time when Thomas Jefferson, third president of the United States of America, serving as ambassador in France, acknowledged Château Coutet as “the best Sauternes in Barsac.”
Following a number of informal rankings, the 1855 classification ordered by Napoleon III was issued for the Universal Exposition. It officially recognised Château Coutet as one of the Classified First Growths of the Sauternes and Barsac appellations, alongside the finest wines from the Médoc and Graves regions.
Henry-Louis Guy, an industrialist from Lyon, acquired Château Coutet in the 1920 and managed the estate until 1977, when Marcel Baly and two of his sons, Philippe and Dominique, became the new owners of Château Coutet in 1977. Originally from Alsace, the family subsequently expanded overseas, especially in the United States. With zeal and determination, they set about the task of renewing the vineyard and the winery buildings. In 1994, the two brothers concluded an agreement with Baron Philippe de Rothschild SA. The winemaking team is now advised by the technical staff from Château Mouton Rothschild.

The attention brought to the winemaking and the ageing is the reason of the existence of this exceptional wine.

I Giusti & Zanza Nemorino White Toscana IGT

L’Elisir D’Amore is an Italian 19th century opera buffa by Gaetano Donizetti. It tells the story of the charlatan pharmacist Dulcamara whose “love filter”, in truth a bottle of Bordeaux, helps Nemorino conquer the heart of the beautiful Adina despite Belcore’s interference. A complex tale of ploys and passion, with the sweet tones of love and the bitter taste of jealousy – it offers a representation of wine as a powerful love filter that is fitting with the charming wisely-balanced intensity of I Giusti & Zanza wines.
Nemorino White is composed of two complementary varieties in equal parts: the Trebbiano Toscano, that guarantees excellent acidity and freshness even for the warmest vintages, and the Semillon, that provides the blend with the aromatic complexity lacking in the Trebbiano. A wine of great freshness and complexity.

The agricultural conduction is organic and biodynamic in the vineyards.

Schild Estate Lorraine Schild Reserve Late Harvest Semillion (375ml)

Schild Estate Wines are created with an authenticity and passion that comes from generations of a family who have made their home in the Southern Barossa.
Formally grazing and broad acre farming the 40 acres were soon turned into vineyard. The Schild family purchased this land in 1990 and found this sight to be ideal for planting Semillon.
Single vineyard semillon fruit is “cordon cut” in the vineyard allowing the berries to desiccate on the vine for three weeks in order to concentrate flavours.
