Dark bright ruby in colour.
A silky nose is marked by prominent fruit aromas of plum, dark cherry and raspberry which float above and around more subtle glimpses of vanilla bean and clove spice.
In the mouth that same juicy primary fruit and vanilla bean character shows again this time alongside flavours of mocha and a core of graphite.
All of this is pinned by soft tannins ensuring genuine balance and providing the wine with a velvet mouthfeel.
The wine is matured for 12-14 months in barrel before undergoing a light filtration and fining prior to bottling.
Ideal with any roasted and grilled meat.
