Lapostolle Grand Selection Sauvignon Blanc

This Grand Selection Sauvignon Blanc comes from a very special area in Cachapoal, directly beneath the foothills of the Andes, and enhances the best fruit that Rapel Valley has to offer. The vines grow with the cold influence of the mountains and express all the minerality of the vineyards unique stony soil: Las Kuras means “stones” in the native language.
Strict fruit selection, natural juice decantation and low temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks are the key points, with the addition of 8% of Semillón from old vines in Apalta vineyard and 7% of Sauvignon Gris. The result is a wine that showcases its natural flavors and acidity with delicate notes of white fruits and rounded mid palate.

“Las Kuras is right at the foothills of the Andes, I am used to have them as a companion. These majestic mountains are a silent witness of all that happens here in our vines”
Jacques Begarie, Chief Winemaker.

Certified Carbon Neutral.
