APPEARANCE
Youthful purple-red tint.

NOSE
The wine is soft and silky with perfumed strawberry jam on the nose.

PALATE
Ripe plum and cream come through on the palate which has supple tannins and an attractive, lively red fruit finish.
The finish is poised and elegant.

AGEING
12 to 15 months in French oak barrels.

PAIRING
Good with stews, game dishes with spicy notes, grilled and roast ribs with creamy sauce and cooked vegetables.
Simply delicious with duck or cassoulet.

READINESS FOR DRINKING
Ready to be drunk now but with the potential to age over the next decade.
