Deep red colour.
The bouquet is packed with blackberry fruit, a sense of black raisin and dark chocolate, licorice and minerals in behind.
The palate shows great concentration of fruit and complexity, the tannins bring depth but they are soft, while the aftertaste has late peppered notes lifting through the end.
Aged in a mixture of 70% used and 30% new French oak barrels along with cement vats.
Best served with all types of classic meat dishes, with a myriad of different seafood dishes, as well as Asian cuisine.
