Lapostolle Grand Selection Merlot

Valle del Rapel is located in the central part of Chile. It exhibits a semi-arid Mediterranean climate with warm and dry days and pleasantly cool nights during the growing season, as a result of cold breezes coming from the Andes. Rapel has also a cool influence from the Pacific’s Humboldt Current, which lowers temperatures in the coastal areas of the valley. This leads to warm days with ample sunlight and dry conditions, allowing a slow ripening period and maintain its natural acidity that is a characteristic of this elegant Merlot.

In particular, the 2018 harvest was a great success, with a moderate larger crop than normal, and showing wines with great balance & excelent typicity.

Lapostolle Grand Selection Sauvignon Blanc

This Grand Selection Sauvignon Blanc comes from a very special area in Cachapoal, directly beneath the foothills of the Andes, and enhances the best fruit that Rapel Valley has to offer. The vines grow with the cold influence of the mountains and express all the minerality of the vineyards unique stony soil: Las Kuras means “stones” in the native language.

The 2020 season started with an extremely dry season and a mild winter, with temperatures above average. All this resulted in an extremely early season and the results was that the vineyard produced concentrated grapes, that turned into intense wines with an elegant style. T

“Las Kuras is right at the foothills of the Andes, I am used to have them as a companion. These majestic mountains are a silent witness of all that happens here in our vines”
Jacques Begarie, Chief Winemaker.

Lapostolle Le Petit Clos de Clos Apalta

In 2014, Clos Apalta gave birth to its second wine, Le Petit Clos de Clos Apalta, in order to offer a different interpretation of this unique terroir, using the same grapes, but in different proportion, and offering young vines a chance to prove their worth before thay can make it into the Grand Vin.
The 2017 vintage was shaped by extreme conditions which promoted deadly, tinderbox conditions for the propagation of devastating wildfires, with a total of 600,000 hectares of forest, but Apalta vines were spared and suffered no smoke damage, which was soon confirmed on tasting the different parcels of grapes.
In the end, conditions for ripening were excellent and consistent with a classic year.

“Le Petit Clos is a different interpretation of the Clos Apalta Terroir, using the mastery of blending that is the heart of the winemaking philosophy from the Domaines Bournet ”. – Jacques Begarie, Chief Winemaker.

Made with Organic Grapes and Biodynamic vineyard management.

Le Monde Pinot Grigio DOC

Cantina Le Monde is located in Friuli, within the famous Grave del Friuli area that extends from the foothills of the Alps to the Adriatic Sea. The origins of the estate that once owned the farmland can be traced back to the early 1700’s. The name ‘Le Monde’ is taken from the Germanic-Latin word “Mundio”, an ancient Germanic law that ‘protected’ the farmlands of the region. Cantina Le Monde ‘protects’ and safeguards its vineyards, farming in a healthy way, that respects nature and the sustainable future of ancient soils.

“We don’t do what we do for the plaudits of our profession. If critics endorse our product, that’s great news, but truly, we do what we do at Le Monde for all wine drinkers – for everyone – for the people” – Alex Maccan, owner of Cantina Le Monde.

Le Preare Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG

The brand Le Preare was created by Cantina Valpolicella Negrar to pay tribute to a history, where previous generations very often paid a very high price, allowing todays generation of vine growers to benefit from the hard work of their forefathers.
Located in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico, this area was also known for its prestigious stones, such as the red marble of Verona. It was widely used by the Venetians when building their villas. However, the use of other local stones, less prestigious then marble, was wide spread. The antique mines where the stone was taken, were called “preare” in local dialect. The local stones were used to separate the vineyards and also to build the terraces, allowing the vines to grow also on steep slopes.

This Amarone truly expresses the company philosophy, shown through the wine’s balance between elegance and structure. Made from grapes grown in the Valpolicella Classica zone, which undergo “appassimento” (gentle drying) before ageing in large oak barrels for a minimum of 24 months and further maturation of 6-8 months in bottle.

Les Hautes Marches Maison de France Cuvée Prestige Blanc

You may have noticed the “Les Hautes Marches” royal style.
Indeed, the brand refers to the importance of the French royalty in the French wines development, back in the 17th century. The kings of France and Aragon, together with the Avignon popes, the princes and lords of Languedoc and Provence, were used to serve wines from the South of France area to their guests. Thanks to their help, the winegrowers of the region were able to improve their techniques and their knowledge of the great diversity of terroirs. Through the decades, they elevated winemaking to an art form.
Today, “Les Hautes Marches” brand, sourced from the best terroirs, embodies the newest expression of their art.
