Les Hautes Marches Maison de France Cuvée Prestige Rouge

You may have noticed the “Les Hautes Marches” royal style.
Indeed, the brand refers to the importance of the French royalty in the French wines development, back in the 17th century. The kings of France and Aragon, together with the Avignon popes, the princes and lords of Languedoc and Provence, were used to serve wines from the South of France area to their guests. Thanks to their help, the winegrowers of the region were able to improve their techniques and their knowledge of the great diversity of terroirs. Through the decades, they elevated winemaking to an art form.
Today, “Les Hautes Marches” brand, sourced from the best terroirs, embodies the newest expression of their art.

Les Hautes Marches offers all the flavours and aromas of traditional French wines, with layers of vibrant red fruit.
Best enjoyed chilled, Les Hautes Marches is a savoury range of flavoured wines, full of delicious aromas of fresh fruit.

The grapes used in this wine’s blend are primarily from the Sainte Anne plot, mostly planted with Merlot, giving it a distinctive personality and it is the best introduction to the Pichon Baron spirit.

The 2016 vintage was marked by widely varying weather conditions with a cold, wet winter, a damp spring anda hot, dry summer. A long, splendid Indian summer helped the grapes reach excellent ripeness levels.

Listel Grain de Gris Rosé Terres du Midi IGP

Listel is above all a strong story told for over 100 years. It was in 1883 that the Salins du Midi, owners of large expanses of sand in the Camargue, decided to plant the first vines on the “Isles de Stel”, a plot that gave its name to the emblematic rosé: Listel.

The Grain de Gris Rosé is a delicate rosé dress that makes you want to breathe it gently, a wine that coaxes the taste buds before stimulating them with a nice freshness on the finish.

M. Chapoutier Bila-Haut Côtes-du-Roussillon AOP Blanc

It was in Latour de France that M.Chapoutier chose to set up his domain. The vines of Bila-Haut and Occultum Lapidem were the first expressions of this terroir. The story continued near a little village called Lesquerde. Steep, craggy limestone, arid soil, battered by the tramontane wind…

In this Côtes-du-Roussillon white blend part of the grapes comes from limestone, clay soils and gneiss in the Agly Valley; the other part from granite soils at higher altitude (500m, later ripening sites).
