Le Monde Pinot Grigio DOC

Cantina Le Monde is located in Friuli, within the famous Grave del Friuli area that extends from the foothills of the Alps to the Adriatic Sea. The origins of the estate that once owned the farmland can be traced back to the early 1700’s. The name ‘Le Monde’ is taken from the Germanic-Latin word “Mundio”, an ancient Germanic law that ‘protected’ the farmlands of the region. Cantina Le Monde ‘protects’ and safeguards its vineyards, farming in a healthy way, that respects nature and the sustainable future of ancient soils.

“We don’t do what we do for the plaudits of our profession. If critics endorse our product, that’s great news, but truly, we do what we do at Le Monde for all wine drinkers – for everyone – for the people” – Alex Maccan, owner of Cantina Le Monde.

Markus Molitor Haus Klosterberg Riesling Trocken

In 1984, at the tender age of 20, Markus Molitor took over his father’s winery with a clear aim: to produce Mosel Rieslings under the name “Molitor” in the tradition of eight generations and in the same quality that made the region world-famous 100 years ago, terroir-specific, unmistakable and extremely storable. The winery is based at the center of the Wehlener Klosterberg site and cultivates vineyards in 15 different sites, each of which is unique in its own way and only a “Molitor terroir” for this reason.
Light to medium-heavy stony soils of decomposed slate with a high proportion of iron to produce mineral-flavoured and long-lived wines with delicate, elegant fruit.

At Markus Molitor the bottles are colour coded according to the taste category of the wine: the dry wines have a white cap; the off-dry wines have a grey-green colour like slate. The naturally sweet and botrytis wines have a gold cap.
