Colheita Ports are wines from a single vintage that are aged in wood for several years and can only be bottled after they have attained 7 years of age. Whilst they age, their young, fruity and fresh aromas develop through oxidation to create a bouquet of dried fruit, toasted wood and spices. The wines also acquire an increased smoothness and their bouquet becomes more harmonious and complex.

Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt Piesporter Goldtröpfchen Riesling Kabinett (off-dry)

Producing unique Rieslings that capture the distinctive personality of the great vineyard sites on the Mosel, Saar and Ruwer has been the mission at Weingut Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt for the last 650 years. The Gunter-Reh family arrived at the end of the 1970’s when they purchased the Imperial property of “Reichsgrafen von Kesselstatt” in 1978. Today, covering 46 hectares, their vines occupy an extraordinary range of superior terroirs along the three river valleys of Mosel-Saar-Ruwer, expressing the individuality and personality of these unique terroirs as effectively and tangibly as possible.
The “Goldtröpfchen” rocky vineyard from which this amazing Mosel Piesporter Goldtröpfchen Riesling is born, literally means “gold drop”, and never a name was more suitable, because the wine in question is really a golden jewel, with incredible aromas of hydrocarbons typical of Riesling, enriched with fruity notes and aromatic herbs. The vineyard is located above the romantic wine village of Piesport, in a cove near the Moselle, with an amphitheater opening to the south. All these characteristics create an excellent wine, with a long, extremely seductive mineral texture.
