Schild Estate Edgar Schild Reserve Grenache

Planted in 1916 these Centenarian bush vines grow high on the Eastern hills overlooking Rowland Flat. The low-yielding, hardy vines grow untrelissed and are contasntly exposed to the elements. The premium grapes are hand-picked the way they have been for over a hundred years.

Schild Estate Lorraine Schild Reserve Late Harvest Semillion (375ml)

Schild Estate Wines are created with an authenticity and passion that comes from generations of a family who have made their home in the Southern Barossa.
Formally grazing and broad acre farming the 40 acres were soon turned into vineyard. The Schild family purchased this land in 1990 and found this sight to be ideal for planting Semillon.
Single vineyard semillon fruit is “cordon cut” in the vineyard allowing the berries to desiccate on the vine for three weeks in order to concentrate flavours.

Schild Estate Moorooroo Shiraz

This irreplaceable Moorooroo vineyard was planted in 1847 by Willam and John Jacob, just eleven years after the foundation of South Australia putting them amongst the oldest in the world.
Situated between Jacob’s Creek and the North Para River the vineyard gets it’s name from the Indigenous word ‘Moorooroo’ meaning ‘meeting of two waters’.

Schild Estate Moscato

This relatively young vineyard is managed to suite the shallow red loam and clay over limestone soil profiles ensuring premium fruit is produced. The vineyard was purchased by the Schild family in December 2001 and was already extensively planted. The white frontignac grapes planted here are considered to be the most nobel varietal within the muscat family.

Seguin-Manuel Meursault Vieilles Vignes

Almost 200 years after its foundation in 1824, Seguin-Manuel has been completely renewed since its acquisition by Thibaut Marion in 2004. Initially located in Savigny-les-Beaune, new plots have been added to the domain in the villages of Beaune, Pommard, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Vosne-Romanée since 2005. More than 8,5 hectares of vineyards (21 acres) are now directly grown by Seguin-Manuel.

The plot of this beautiful white Burgundy is located in the northern part of the village of Meursault, next to a Premier Cru vineyard. The vines are 35 years old on average.

Seigneurs D’Aiguilhe (or “The Lord of Aiguilhe”) is the second wine of Château d’Aiguilhe, owned by Count Von Neipperg since 1998. The Château is one of the finest and most beautiful vineyards in the Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, on the high hillsides of the right bank of the Dordogne.

Combining power and freshness, the wines of Château d’Aiguilhe succeed in expressing the terroir’s strong personality, and show very well after 5 years in bottle.

Simon Hackett Old Vine Grenache

In 1984, Simon Hackett decided to concentrate fully on establishing his own boutique label and today crushes grapes grown in the McLaren Vale and Barossa Valley regions of South Australia, producing a range of rich, bold, innovative wines.
This hand crafted Rhône style Aussie red uses grapes from gnarled 50 year old McLaren Vale Grenache vines to yield a rich, spicy wine with redcurrant and raspberry fruit enhanced by 3 month oak maturation. Old vines tend to give you much more mineral-rich wines because the roots go very, very deep searching out water and minerals as the vine ages. So you are getting a wine that is got ancient minerals in it withe spiciness coming from the Grenache grape.

St. Michael Eppan Anger Pinot Grigio DOC

St. Michael-Eppan Winery has been enthroned in the center of South Tyrol’s most important wine-growing community for over a century. For more than two thousand years, wines have been grown in the area around Eppan, known for its ideal growing conditions, and it is these grapes that are being processed at St. Michael-Eppan Winery.
The single-vineyard wines of the Selection Line are ambassador of their terroir, reflecting the strengths of the various sites in an unique way. The warm, sun-exposed vineyards of the Anger sites, with their loamy limestone gravel soils, are a textbook example of Alto Adige Pinot Grigio.
