Tenuta Di Sesta Camponovo Toscana Rosso IGT

A wine with a strong character linked to the Montalcino territory: it originates from the union of two local varieties, Sangiovese and Colorino, which blend together giving at first the structure and then the intense color. After ageing in stainless steel vats, it shows a ruby red color, hints of red fruit on the nose and fresh and balanced flavor. Even though it is so drinkable and very approachable on the palate, it maintains the typical strong characteristics of Montalcino wines.

Sangiovese in its natural state, considered to be the younger brother of Brunello. It unites the imposing structure of Brunello with the freshness and vivacity of a young wine. It should be drunk young, although it does last with ageing. It shows a well-orchestrated structure with good length and without aggressive tannins, very balanced, intense and elegant.

Tenuta Monteti Caburnio Toscana IGT

The story of Tenuta Monteti began in 1998 when, after years of searching, Gemma and Paolo Baratta finally found this corner of Tuscany in the southern Maremma area where they could take up again a project from their youth. In this small valley, 15 km from the sea and 145m above sea level, the fields are protected by the Monteti hill from which the estate takes its name.
Being able to start from scratch, without an old local tradition or the frame of a DOC classification, meant there was freedom to listen to the soil and the climate, and plant the varieties that would respond and express themselves to their best. Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Alicante Bouschet were chosen and in these archaic Mediterranean hills soon they found a very personal expression.

Caburnio is the other, not second, wine. It is named after a spelling mistake in the transcription of a passage of the Natural History by Pliny the Elder, written between 23 and 79 AD, in which, in the illustration of winegrowing in Roman times in the province of Gallia Narbonensis, “vitis Caburnicam” appeared by mistake instead of “Narbonicam, Narbonensis”. It is a complex yet fresh wine and it is very drinkable.

Certified sustainable wine.

Tenuta Monteti Monteti Toscana IGT

The story of Tenuta Monteti began in 1998 when, after years of searching, Gemma and Paolo Baratta finally found this corner of Tuscany in the southern Maremma area where they could take up again a project from their youth. In this small valley, 15 km from the sea and 145m above sea level, the fields are protected by the Monteti hill from which the estate takes its name.

Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Alicante Bouschet were chosen and in these archaic Mediterranean hills soon they found a very personal expression.

Monteti is the flagship wine, named like the estate after the hill that protects the vineyards from the strong Mediterranean winds guaranteeing an ideal microclimate thanks to which our vines can benefit, protected, from sea proximity. Monteti has the personality of the Maremman territory subjected however to the complexity and elegance of a great wine: Petit Verdot is the personality, the rebel horse, Cabernet Sauvignon conveys structure and longevity and Cabernet Franc is the feminine element that embraces and softens both. A wine with a “reverse spoon” sensorial trend: with a gentle, attractive entry followed by a full expansion and a long finish.
