Susana Balbo Signature Malbec

Many Malbec associate with powerful, robust and sweet-fruited red wines, but Susana Balbo chooses instead to emphasize the elegant fruity and minerality of the grape variety. Made with purchased grapes from Altamira, this impressive, limestone-influenced Malbec contains 5% Petit Verdot. It’s a scented, well balanced expression of the grape with bright acidity, crunchy blackberry fruit, well integrated oak and filigree tannins. More evidence of the change of style here.
