Eperosa Blanc Semillon

From Magnolia Road vineyard, where three separate blocks contribute to the wine planted in 1941, 1971 and 1975. All three blocks are hand pruned, bunch thinned, handpicked and hand sorted. The vineyard is run organically with the use of sheep to graze through winter and undervine mechanical knifing and mowing through Spring and Summer. The vines grow in deep alluvial sands derived from granitic parent rock which contributes purity, complexity and beautiful natural acidity to the wine. The Blanc is full of vitality with lemon, lemon sorbet and citrus peel characters along with a fine mineral finish. One for the serious Semillon lovers!
